So I've been thinking a while about the overall male dominance of the WAM community. Obviously it sucks and makes any sort of outreach challenging. But what if there was a group or forum only available to new members who list their sex as female? A safer space where they can do their thing. Do you think this would be helpful to the community?
Interesting. I don't personally agree with any kind of political gender segregation in order to 'protect' those within a defined group. Contempt disguised as respect.
But I think it would be practically pointless, anyway as anybody could infiltrate it simply by how they represent their own defined gender on the signup form.
It is a sexual fetish forum after all. We all have choices now, about how we represent our own gender and the gender and sex of our content.
Can we not just make the effort to communicate in a respectful and progressive manner? Let's promote genuine equality of participation rather than an engineered politically correct nightmare.
I agree with Richard, There is always the option of selecting "Female" on the options so that you only see female content, although this may not actually satisfy your concerns. I always keep my options to "all" as although not to my taste, some of the "boys" have a few good ideas.

Nothing about this idea was rooted in politics or an effort to be politically correct. It was an attempt to be helpful. Maybe it wouldn't be as helpful as I thought, IDK. I was just tossing the idea out there.

Sorry just getting to some of these older posts I won't do a female-only section because I'd rather keep working on filters to make the entire site female (or male or trans) if that's what you wanna see. As for allowing only females to participate in any section, that's gotta be next to impossible to properly moderate because there would have to be some way to verify gender. Then you have females who are biologically male making things more... hairy (sorry, I had to heheee )
